  • I am located in San Diego, California however I provide telehealth services to clients throughout California.

  • Individual Therapy:

    $230 Per 50 Minute Session

  • Unfortunately after providing psychotherapy to clients for several years I have experienced major issues with insurance companies that disrupt and impair client treatment and results.

Insurance companies can dictate length of treatment, length of sessions and specific treatment modalities that may not be the most effective method and treatment for clients. Insurance companies also require that you are diagnosed with a mental health disorder for therapy to be covered by insurance (even if you are using out-of-network benefits). That diagnosis remains permanently on your health record.

Although I am not an In network provider I am happy to provide superbills and walk you through that process if you have a PPO plan and would like to use out of network benefits.

  • I offer sessions exclusively through Telehealth and use a secure HIPPA compliant platform.

  • Appointment Hours:

    Tuesdays - Thursdays 9:00am - 2:00pm

    and

    Fridays 9:00am - 12:00pm

  • As far back as I can remember, I have always loved learning about people and supporting them in creating meaning and purpose in their lives. I have always enjoyed connecting with other women and working together to support them. After becoming a mother myself, I knew that supporting others during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood was my true passion and calling. I then received special training to support this population and am extremely passionate about working with perinatal (pregnant and postpartum) clients as well as women undergoing life transitions, including relationship shifts, divorce and separations.

  • Under this law that went into effect January 1, 2022 you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.

  • I pride myself on being approachable and welcoming in session. I have a casual style that allows me to build trust, relationships, and rapport at the client's pace and comfort level. I honor boundaries and understand that clients all have different preferences in how much to share with their therapist. I believe progress is determined by the client's own definition and will work with clients to determine what progress looks like for them. I use a customized mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and strength-based therapy when working with clients.

  • Because I reserve each appointment slot specifically per client, cancellations must be made by voicemail or email at least 48 hours in advance otherwise they will be charged the full session rate.
